Respecting Uniqueness

When I am too angry and defensive, perhaps too guilty and afraid; I can't be influenced by just your plain words even though inside my heart I know that I need what you can tell me. Unless you respect my unique identity and treat me uniquely not just in words but in actions too; I am not going to be influenced by you or your advice.
